Life is life? That's brilliant -- almost metaphysical in its non-sequitur way. And when is it defined as human life? That is what escapes the biologists. Just because something is alive does not give it rights unless it can be defined as human. The potential to be a human does not create a lien on a woman's rights to her own body. She is already, without doubt, a human. She is entitled to full rights; a potential is not. That is the underlying philosophical argument.
