Qualcomm/Nokia fallout

. . . . will lead to closer scruting not only of Nokia's shell game but of Qualcomm's technology. The winner? Qualcomm! Hands down!

One development late this past winter that got almost no media play was the potential for use of Qualcomm's technology directly into movie theaters.

This past week we also had developments in the potential of hooking people up with laptops to the internet while they're flying in commercial airlines.

It's not going to take much longer before Qualcomm is on the cover of Time Magazine.

HDR is coming! HDR is coming! HDR is coming!

Has Cisco, for example, ever been on the cover of Time Magazine?

Qualcomm is getting ready to blow its top. The FUDD just started clearing last week.

Just porchin'

back in the saddle in New England, in strange Boston area home

took several days to get home from Atlanta Porch Party
spent two days in North Carolina Outer Banks
even met lovely Aussie girl jumping from hostel to hostel
I had jumping on my mind also, might have July visit later
no sooner got back in Boston but got several mosquito bites
welcome back, jackass

most excellent to see Nokia on the defensive
NOK stock down about 15% in last half of week
now defending lack of CDMA strategy, and rumors
I see this as a psych reversal of momentum, maybe nothing more
hoping Ruffian is right about Nokia deal soon
I see a chipset deal at the least

wrote my first covered calls this week, feels good
waited for my stock to rise slightly, then sold July calls at my price at higher strike
locked in nice monthly income profit

really good to see old friends, surprised how glad they were to see me
nice to leave behind mid-90 temperatures in Florida
not nice to leave buddy Abby behind
might have a July visit from her

Porch Party impressions next
