Wal-Mart makes money because it's what is referred to as a successful mass merchandiser.
Meaning it sells to the masses. Amazon.com can only sell to those who have a pc keyboard, net appliance, or a cell phone.
The point is, to become profitable Amzn needs to sell to the masses, and so far it seems can't.
What Amzn has been successful at is, convenience to those customers like me who are too lazy to shop.
