Are you saying the only way to correctly call Amazon's demise is to predict the exact date the stock is going to drop 50%? Is you doctor correct or incorrect if he tells you smoking is bad for you and very likely will kill you? Is he crying wolf if you live for 1 week after your appointment? How about if you live for 3 years and he tells you every visit that it's gonna kill you. What if he keeps saying it for 10 years? Then you've REALLY showed him who is boss. Now, at year 11, when you get lung cancer, do you tell him: "You were bound to get it right once." Give me a break.

sl your comment is unfair to kis. certainly one might have made some (ok lots) of $ on the way up on amzn, or by trading it, but i think one could take out of kis's message is that this particular stock was not a blue chip long term investment / hold at lofty levels, and that it can easily cause your portfolio a lot of grief. and someone had to balance off against the nonsensical talk of $ 500 billion mkt caps for this puppy. don't you think ? some bought this thing over $ 100. you know where it sits today. please offer them some consoling words, or advice on what to do now that THEY are down 60 %...
