Hi Dude ..

I was kinda wacked out of Friday .. stepped into a trap and I started to fall asleep in front of the monitor and my ears started to ring .. time to walk away for me.

Oil .. the threat of the strike in Norway ended on Friday. Should start to move back down a little now.

OK .. fed stuff ..

They are very concerned about the low unemployment situation. Isn't it fair to say that they would like to see higher unemployment? Of course they will not directly target such a thing .. they will just set the stage where this is most likely to take place.

They will slow the economy to such and such .. just what does that mean? What will be slower?

If you ignored the impact of energy in the last CPI and PPI, inflation was higher than expected. So then, now that energy has gone up so much, what kind of data do you think that the fed will be considering next week? I believe that they will see that their existing rate hikes have had no effect at all yet.
