Re: "I doubt Willy is in production yet except for test lots..."

And what do you base this on?

Jim, >I do think the RAMBUS, Toshiba, Hitachi decisions aren't helping AMDs stock price either. Anything that even gives a glimmer of hope for RAMBUS coupled with a company being able to tax DDR and SDRAM is not positive for AMD.

Do you really think that enough stock traders know enough about Rambus, and possible effects of their IP and court settlements on same, to make a difference in AMD stock? I don't. They know that Intel competes with AMD. That's about it, IMO. Let's see, what's come out about Intel lately...

- Niles et al say great second half coming. Second half is almost here.

- Another analyst says Intel will be able to manufacture 15% more chips in each of 3Q and 4Q.

Street probably sees the brakes being put on AMD's free ride, at least some, and maybe they think twice about buying AMD.

Jim, new Celerons announced at 700, 667 and 633 Megahertz, with all the infrastructure in place to ramp very quickly. Have any Duron PCs been announced by the boxmakers yet? Forget Rambus, this is more of a potential AMD stock hit.

"All these products fit into today's existing infrastructure," McCrea said. "The infrastructure is there. The motherboards are there, so this can ramp very quickly in the marketplace."
