Question:

What is the typical span of time over which a stock's Beta is calculated?

Thx,

Hi Justa:

I wasn't clear as regarding the credit quality of the bonds. In one of your posts last week you indicated many of your muni investments were insured. I think this is a very good point. It is better to lose a little interest and gain some security. I thought this was an astute point on your part (among many but I mostly lurk and don't comment on your thread).

Many forget there can be some muni failures or at least the ratings get cut and if one has to sell they lose principal. The insurance helps to protect against this.

Best regards,

Tim
