From what I read,
1. Australia will install only parts of this standard, which will make it a MASSIVE headache for those companies which operate in many countries.
2. The bankers may NOT be as ready as they think or report??? The BIS is WORRIED!
3. Yes, Producers (of everything)are given a "break", looks like it will bring metals miners more on par with the producers of all other commodities. but I agree, it gives the metals investor another concern. EXCEPT, the rules changes may discourage hedgeing??
