Well said, DW. I agree 100% that it's a stereoptype - developed from my own experiences. It's not a popular prejudice, so I can't think that I've learnt it from anything but my experience. It is my belief that a higher than pro rata percentage of investment scammers are Mormon. It's a fairly reliable, although certainly not conclusive, indicator for me. Sort of like the whites in Zimbabwe, where I lived for a bit, saying all the black businessmen were corrupt. Truth was, I think, that by the whites' standards they were, but to their own standards they were not. Kind of a broad brush. Apologies for the off-color remarks. peter
