IMHO it is only possible to short shares when you have them (borrowed)! Therefor all the longs need to take out their shares of streetname.

No, I'm not giving in. It will (or maybe has) hit bottom and I'll pick up more.

I think sometimes MMs will do a "naked short" with BB stocks. That is, they will sell short without the borrowing that takes place with NASDAQ shorting. BBs are a different world.
