Sorry you had a bad time with Symantec but I can say just the opposite. I ordered the wrong version from them a few months ago and contacted them by phone and they were kind enough to send me the proper version and told me to donate the cd that I had mis-ordered to a local school. A link to the email address for customer support is on many Symantec pages under feedback. I guess we all have different experiences with support issues.

i'm glad you've found this thread to be very helpful. and congrats on your first post. <g3>

you definitely sound like a person who is not interested in changing their mind about symantec. with that in mind, i see no real reason for me to respond to any specific points in your post. kind of like wasting your time and mine.

we do help an awful lot of people here, as you know. many of them have norton questions. i've always believed that a key to learning is knowing where to look for help. i've learned a bunch about the software myself just by hanging out here and trying to help others.

lest i get into an exchange with you where i am defending every 'charge' that you make against symantec, i at least want to say that i have received numerous replies from this company over the years, both emailed and online responses to posted forum questions, and i have found a great deal of my answers by using their well-organized knowledge base.
