I don't think they'll tighten either since the Fed Funds futures aren't expecting it. If they tighten and make a statement that that's it for awhile, then the market's off to the races again. If they tighten and make a statement that inflation is worse than the current spin, then the market goes into the dumps. My opinion is they want price stability, not moon shots or cliff dives.
