tonyt, I had exactly the same reaction.

Anyone who can read and has any interst in following amzn should know this stuff. But I guess when the monster's creators begin to badmouth the monster, then things really are quite bleak.

What bad news? Absolutly nothing has changed with Amazon.

I think I heard that somewhere, from some guy in a silly hat. Unfortunately it rings kinda hollow. It could equally mean that all the shorts that got killed by this stock in 98 and 99 were right all along, that the market was totally nuts to "applaud" AMZN's business model the way it did.

But since you're cribbing from one of your favorite sites, let me crib from one of mine. Never, ever dismiss lightly a bond analyst who raises a red flag. It's their job to be on the lookout for trouble.

Still, it just might help if even one stock analyst came out and defended AMZN's side of the story. Anyone? Anyone?
