However, I have met people who have the strategy to make a planned visit of 3 to 6 months annually when possible. I met a couple of guys in Oregon who would work on labor jobs during the nice weather and live in camps. When it began to get chilly they would start to break into liquor stores. If they got away with it, they would host a party and make another attempt in a few days. The ultimate goal of this strategy is incarceration until the nice weather returned.

I am sure that such a strategy does not work out as planned for very many years. However, I am equally sure that these two men were not too unique in their thinking.
