m_a_x,
Does Elmer ever utter comments that are not an embarrassment? Possibly on another thread, certainly not here.

I'm guess I'm not perfect after all.

m_a_x,

Here is another old one by another poster containing same theme related to 'Intel is going flood the market with lots Coppermine processors'. Enjoy -

Paul, Re: It appears that AMD has rapidly reached DEMAND constraint for the AthWiper.

Do you think 2000 will be a profitable year for AMD ?
While the result seems to be terrific for Q499, there is
something puzzling.

As you have noticed, they cannot sell all the Athlon they can make despite of the demand(looks at the scarcity for Cumine). If we take the words of Intel's management as well as PB, Cumine is still ramping nicely. It could be quite possible that by early Q2, the supply/demand equation will be reversed with lots of Cumine flooding the market.

I am itching to buy some LEAPS PUT for AMD and hoping it will drop back to the 20s sometimes in Q3/Q4.

Judging from the Q4 1998 and Q4 1999 result, it seems that AMD can only make profit when Intel has problem suppling enough CPUs to the market.

Gary

Elmer, you're today's star of jc-news.com

He digged up one of your most embarrassing post :

Congratulation!
You found a way to spread your judgement wider than everyone's on the tread. People use to try to be intelligent to do it, but it seems you found a faster and easier way.

Max,

You are a cruel, cruel guy...ROTFLMAO!!
