Having heard me blast the computer technician who came to my house for the fourth time, my wife suggested on her way out the door that I should vent on the curmudgeon thread. Frankly, I don't know how anyone who is a novice at computers can ever get anything figured out these days when manufactures and their service providers don't want to take the time to examine all the potential issues. I'm the farthest thing from a techy (not as if you don't already know that) and I feel like I've got to be the computer expert any time I talk with these people. The idea of leaving them in a room or letting someone on the other end of the phone taking full responsibility for what might go right or wrong for the stuff they're paid to do is incomprehensible when it comes to a stand-alone PC in a home.

And people wonder why I refuse to network my laptop and PC. ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGHHHH! (That is NOT an emoticon!)

P. S. She was right. Now I feel better.

finally someone who understands the game.

craps lesson #1.
never play on a house table...only play in floating craps games...stand back, wait for the shooter to point, bet against him, get rich.
easy.
