Re illness mystery -- I have a visitor from Tokyo who teaches at Yokota Air Base HS. He was just telling me about a student who recently died after some disturbingly similar symptoms which began with breathing problems and ended with complete kidney failure (along with other major problems, including coma) The kid worked in a Burger King on the base. THREE people working there were hospitalized -- the other two recovered. John has subsequently learned that others experienced milder symptoms. The deceased's cause of death was put down to viral pneumonia. According to John there was virtually NO investigation re connecting illness or attempting to determine their actual origin. The government is not noted for getting to the bottom of stuff like this. Propably no connection to our own loss but..... Mike
