Yahoo said its latest initiatives respond to strong
demand from companies that want to leverage Yahoo.
Here's a look at the partners:

Corporate Yahoo has a deal with TIBCO Software Inc.
(Nasdaq: TIBX), up 1 1/2 to 91, to use TIBCO
ActivePortal technology. The companies co-developed
the Yahoo Portal Builder software to enable the
integration of customized Internet content delivered by
Yahoo and corporate content from a company's existing
intranets, databases and enterprise applications. The
TIBCO ActivePortal and TIBCO ActiveEnterprise
product suites enable customers to connect, integrate
and automate their back-office and front-office
applications into their portals.

Inktomi Corp. (Nasdaq: INKT) shares plummeted 24
15/16 to 115 7/16 on news that though it will provide
search and navigation technology for the new corporate
portal, the use of its search engine for general queries
on Yahoo is being phased out. Both companies said
they plan to work together on developing solutions for
the enterprise marketplace in the future.

Hewlett-Packard (NYSE: HWP), up 1 7/8 to 119, will
act as a reseller. HP will also provide sales, marketing,
system integration and customer support.

WebEx will provide web-conferencing and real-time
meeting and video collaboration tools for interactive
intranet conferencing.

Citrix Systems' (Nasdaq: CTXS) NFuse technology
will enable server-based applications to be launched
from a standard Web page. Shares were up 1 3/16 to
19 7/8.

Netegrity's (Nasdaq: NETE) SiteMinder secure
management platform will enable single sign-on,
authentication management and entitlement
management. Shares were up 3/4 to 64 1/2.

Critical Path (Nasdaq: CPTH), up 3 15/16 to 53 7/8
will support messaging, personal information
management and collaboration

Yahoo also said Network Appliance (Nasdaq: NTAP) is
its storage provider.
Shares were up 3 3/16 to 80 1/8

Yahoo is announcing that Alcatel (NYSE: ALA) Inktomi,
Network Appliance and State of North Carolina in
conjunction with Andersen Consulting are among the
first customers to sign up for Corporate Yahoo.

In other Yahoo news, the company said Taiwan's four
leading mobile phone firms would carry its
Chinese-language WAP portal and it also announced a
strategic alliance with the online edition of a major local
newspaper.

Former state phone monopoly Chunghwa Telecom,
Taiwan Cellular, FarEasTone and KG Telecom will carry
a wireless application protocol (WAP) version of the
portal, which includes e-mail, stock quotes, weather
forecasts and news.

Yahoo will take a five percent stake in the online
business of Taiwan's China Times media group as part
of a strategic alliance on website content.

China Times and Yahoo officials declined to comment
on the monetary value of the deal, which will secure 700
daily ChinaTimes.com news stories for Yahoo's Taiwan
portal.
