well said, I'm in complete agreement with that, also, my gut seems to be right on more then not, but of course, I have Mr. Brain making that determination, and he has a bias most the time. <vbg> SDLI sure has rebounded in fine fashion, Mr. Gut is saying buy, but Mr. Brain is over ruling it now.. I need to go lie down on the coach and talk to Mr. Brain's analyst since I'm conflicted. LOL

Mucho Maas, The original stock TA guys were tape watchers. No one knew what they did and they often could not explain what they did. But it worked for them.

TA is nothing more than observation of past behavior and using it as a predictor of the future. It does require mastering skills. Some of which are very elementary. A good memory, or reading a chart.

If you buy low and sell high you are practicing elementary TA. If you momentum trade you are practicing TA. If you pay any attention whatsoever to price, then you are practicing TA. Those who invest with no thought of the price are abject fools, total geniuses, or on the inside.

When you buy strickly on fundamental value regardless of the price action you are practicing FA. Aside from Warren Buffet, I don't know anyone else who is successful with that approach. The rest of us are closet technical analysts, like it or not.
