HM, NEM, CDE have seen insider buying around current prices this year. note that forward, as well as current p/e's are basically meaningless in the case of gold mining cos. as they change dramatically with swings in the gold price, which in turn is not predictable with any degree of accuracy. all that can be said with reasonable certainty is that the price is now more or less $70 below replacement value and close to the average cost of production. which suggests that it is more likely to go higher than lower.
