Carpe, It looked more like a short-sell on the news. . . not an orderly selling of shares as one would expect. . .CRA was dropping full points on 100 share trades. . .also, it wouldn't surprise me if the U.S. Govt. and Britain were to announce a new commitment of funds in the billions to the genome project. . . remember this is just the first step. . .the most important part is the identifying of proteins that will lead to cures through various products. So before I concede defeat on the 'sell the news' bios, I am waiting to hear the rest of the news. Another thing to consider is the effects all of today's news will have on foreign markets overnight. . . although CRA was up 10 in Europe this AM, yet only opened up a few points here. . . .all the bios were selling off in pre-market after moving up in the After Hours on Friday. . . .very manipulated, in my opinion. MLNM / ILXO sure turned out to be a dud. I think the problem with the entire biotech sector is that the speculators are in control. . . and we probably should have stayed on the prudent road all along. Rande Is

gore is unelectable ..... not if you believe that people vote according to their pocketbook, ie. their perception of their financial well-being. Yes, the economy is softening but I don't think to the point that Gore's electability is in trouble, yet. Not too long ago in a Doonsbury cartoon, Gary Trudeau referred to George W, using Bush's native parlance, as "all hat and no cattle"....I'd have to agree with that, hehe Julie
