Yeah with the CyberX simple orders, the actual order might hit one of the routing options on a downtick, possibly cancelling the whole thing. I usually put a limit order either quite a long way away from the bid, or 1/16 above the bid. On NASDAQ, if your short sale is at least 1/16 above the current bid, and someone takes it, the uptick rule doesn't matter.
