SGI has to re-invent itself. Graphics hardware is no great market to be in, and super computer is not growing either.

The foremost is a good management team, which SGI doesn't have. Even for the slow growth graphics and super computer markets, SGI can be profitable if it focuses on them. With a superior management, SGI can certainly turn many of its IPs in graphics and super computer into real advantages. With this ever more SERVER-client world, how can super computer not be useful if one knows how to apply it?

With such a poor management, SGI is worth ZERO.
