I have never posted to DCA into index funds.
Indeed, I am short qqq.
I do hold closed end funds-bought at discounts to NAV.
If valuations were very different, perhaps I would DCA into index funds.
My shorts have led to paper losses. But I have closed shorts with profits and overall my longs are profitable.
I think the market is waay overvalued-as do many on this thread. But, those who have felt that and acted on it for a long time have probably lost money.
