ORCT...fwiw has some spin off where ORCT shareholders receive 1 for 1 of the semiconductor spin off. I guess it's trading under TIGAV...but I don't know for sure. If I have it correct you get a free share of TIGAV at $15 for one share of ORCT-a guess!

JLS (Julie) and thread members -- thoughts on ANAD

JLS may well be right that ANAD has bottomed or found support at 31. However, if you buy ANAD at this level, I would suggest you buy it as a swing trade with a VERY well-defined exit level (perhaps with a STOP SELL order). It has been one of the weakest non-PC chip stocks YTD (for reasons that are unclear to me) and seems incapable of making a sustained run. It also dropped far lower from its YTD high earlier in the year than almost any other chip stock (CNXT also comes to mind).

My point: this is not one to bottomfish (IMO) for a big profit; it is a stock to scalp 20-30% from every now and then. Nothing wrong with that, I might add <<ggg>>.
