That first Mommas and Papas was my Mom and my total favorite. Gosh it's wonderful. She would say, "You could put that on."

"La la la la la la la la la la....
There is a rose in Spanish Harlem...."

What sweet voices and melodies.

She loved that one and Donovan's Greatest Hits.

We'd play em and work around the house. Summer, especially.

We had a really pretty cool intercom - it had large stereo wall speakers in each room of the house. It was NEAT.

Lifts and separates.

I played Abbey Road just a leetle too much for her. And Clapton's first solo, with Delaney and Bonnie.

Donovan is a heck of a writer.

"Smith," we call em. "Tunesmith."

2nd Momas, was killer too. California Dreamin, I think was #2. Wasn't it?

I think I drooled on it a lot or something. Do you think it's worth anything?

I would think this needs to await the publication of your first record-shattering novel, in which case we can assume that a vinyl disk drenched in pennidrool could fetch at least a few shekels on e-bay. You would need to furnish a certificate of authenticity though.

<<We couldn't find Dan's copy of the First Family. >>

I believe I have one. Could cassette off the vinyl if you wish.
