Gus, you claim you assumed a "very low royalty rate" but you fail to consider that an average royalty rate for IDC is so low as to make it almost meaningless. A very low royalty rate would be so close to zero it wouldn't be relevant even if it was applied to hundreds of billions in sales. Just what makes you so sure IDC will get anything significant? I admit they will likely get something for it is always easier to pay a bit than fight but I doubt they will get anything resembling that reflected in your fairy tale dream analysis. Why would they? I think you are guilty of the proverbial "counting your chickens before they've hatched" syndrome. Don't worry, you have plenty of company. Bux

I'm interested in all aspects of telecom. Whether IDCC will prosper is unknown. For me to make a considered investment decision would require a lot of study of its patents, its present management, and a host of other issues which I don't have the time to do.
