Haim, in any case it seems to me that these stocks are pricing in a sharp slowdown in the economy at these prices - a slowdown that has yet to materialize. money supply growth has re-accelerated once more, with M3 increasing by roughly 460 bn. dollars over the past nine months, which was topped off by the fastest one-week increase this year over the past week. it's hard to see anything slowing down there...i would ignore all govt. stats that say slowdown - they're obviously designed to keep the Fed at bay due to the election. regards, hb
