Build a mini conservatory by putting a clear plastic bag over your lavender plant. You can use this trick to create a humid climate for your lavender plant or keep your favorite plants from dying when you go away on a lengthy trip.

This is why I crave one of those little greenhouses that lean against the house. After we build the deck, maybe we'll put a greenhouse on the deck.
