Earlie,

I, like you, believe MU to be overpiced. I am however wondering where you get your evidence for this type of statement from "corporations have cut PC buying to the bone".

You seem to have been saying this for some months now. I am close to this business and am not seeing any data to back your assertion up. Has there been a recent survey from Dataquest or the like that expands on this idea?

another view:
Shortages of all kinds of computer components and heavy demand for notebook computers have combined to hold up prices of computer products, Dell said.

``The death of the PC is hugely exaggerated,'' he said. ''The demand for PCs and PC servers and notebooks is very, very healthy, and in a tight component market
the average selling prices are drifting steadily, or even in a slightly upward direction.''
