Jim, Would you be so kind to expand on the following IBM news release and the impact on RMBS. I believe the below is about IBM's imbedded memory, please correct me if I'm wrong.

from Bloomberg News

ARMONK, N.Y. (June 26) -- International Business Machines Corp., the No. 1 computer maker, introduced a computer chip to double the capacity of memory processors in an attempt to boost sales to Internet service providers.

The new chip links memory to the computer's main processor, enabling data to be processed more quickly. The chip initially will be used in computer servers based on Intel Corp. processors that run Web sites, the company said.

Internet service providers require stacks of servers to handle the burgeoning traffic of the Web. With the new chip, service providers can save money because they can buy half as much memory without slowing down the computer network, IBM said, or buy the same amount of memory and enhance the computer's speed.

IBM has fought to assert itself in the Internet server market after Sun Microsystems Inc. landed major customers such as eBay Inc., the largest Internet auction site.

The chip eventually may be used in personal computers, cellular phones and handheld devices, the Armonk, New York-based company said.

IBM rose 3 3/8 to 115 1/8 on the New York Stock Exchange. The stock has risen 6.1 percent this year>>
