Gary, stubborness will cost you a lot of money. If the recent leaks of what's happening in the field (where NT is taking leadership position in two key networking technology sectors -- Optics and 3G Wireless), you are truly ignoring the inevitable. Why fight reality? CSCO will either fail very badly or in the best case scenario -- valuation will get readjusted to reflect the competitive assault that they will be exposed to. This is very clear to me as it can get.
