Yes, the difference in the flavor, not just heat is interesting. Have about 180 or more,
hot pepper plants in the front yard. Some in pots but the others in beds, planted too
close to each other but they are doing fine. My favorites for flavor, are both Peruvian.
One a red Rocoto. Looks like a very flesh tomato. Black seeds. and the other is the 5 to
6 inch yellow/orange aji.

I can't imagine preparing any meat without hot peppers, garlic, soy sauce and fresh
ginger for chicken and pork. And use the peppers in rice and a lima bean dish
