Might the $3b R&D figure from Fujitsu include investments in its 50-50 joint venture with Siemens targeting the Asian computing market?

Also, any word on Minebea's brand new $250m factory in Singapore? For those who may not know, Minebea is the exclusive supplier of the proprietary precision fluid-bearing motors that go into Seagate's 15k rpm drives.

Fujitsu's climb reminds me that, in the last conference call, Wayne Fortun mentioned the possibility of their (Fujitsu's) being interested in HTCH's aTSA suspension. I wonder how much of that was hot air, or an attempt to throw SOMEthing nice to shareholders to nibble on other than broken glass (continued platter decrease, SEG's continued use of perplexingly viable non-TSA options, etc.).
