I was trying to point out how desperate these so called solution providers for servers & client machines are? Sun already does off the die encryption with additional hardware in the system to enhance the performance of their encryption & decryption.

I will go out on a limb and guess Itanium will out perform the sun workstations on this performance metric.

Maybe we can have a commercial showing a Sun server & Itanium based machine trying to send an encrypted jpeg file?
