The Interesting thing is that ABZ is a loser either way. The only way that they win is if they sell off their interest in SNAP.

A couple of observations:

1. A 70-80% premium to the 20 day MA is pretty reasonable for a hostile bid.

2. Statistically , the vast majority ( > 85%) of co.'s that get put in play are ultimately sold. Interesting that the DB bid is conditional only on 50% tendering (as opposed to 66 2/3% , which is the minimum a bidder needs to be able to subsequently squeeze out the minority), which on its face would suggest that DB's would be satisfied with control ; of course , the condition could be bumped to 2/3 as a condition of a higher DB bid. Still no word as to how much DB's already owns ? ...hhmmm

Regards.
