I thought that the $500 million off vendor financing (that Snyder says represents an increase from $100 million), simply reflected the conversion of OUTSTANDING accounts receivable to vendor financing. Thus, this did not represent an increase in exposure but only a deferal of an existing liability. Would anyone care to comment on Steve's question? - Eric -

In the FAQ on the Ignition Corp. web pages it includes the following query and response: --- How do you envision the various wireless infrastructure players mobilizing to take advantage of this wireless "tidal wave"? Who are you betting on? Which ones are focusing the heaviest on wireless? Will there need to be standards? We're infrastructure agnostic. That being said, we think Qualcomm will be major change makers. --- Perhaps this is not surprising, considering that Qualcomm (along with Softbank) is a major financial backer of this wireless VC group founded by star ex-MSFTies. Nonetheless, it's encouraging for me to see this kind of confidence in Q* stated. ignition.mpl2.com
