Bravo, very well said. For the producers to focus on some organized website to stimulate demand is tantamount to rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic. The neophytes managing the gold companies cannot recognize a hole in the bottom of a boat even when they are having trouble finding an airpocket to breathe. As I said, pathetic.

Alec - if it doesn't make sense then market forces will punish the people who are betting wrong. But in a macro sense the hedging is unimportant - only changes to the hedging pattern impact he market and then only slightly. If there's a swing from $US and financial assets to gold then the established pattern of gold trading will have no importance at all - it's in place already.
