Jay,
Well, if the oft-made speculation that Seagate selling is putting a lid on Sandisk both by the selling and by keeping buyers away, and if it is true that they want to get as much selling done before the end of the quarter as possible, then this week should provide a great buying opp in it. Or at least after Seagate reports and we see how much stock they have left. In fairness, when someone who has 22% of your stock decides to sell it all in about 6 months (they started selling in earnest around January or February, I believe), it will put a dent in the price if the selling isn't managed properly. On the other hand, as Zeev has pointed out several times, if Mr Market had the confidence in the stock that those posting on the Sandisk did, they should have had a relatively easy time placing the stock. Even in some million share private placements, it seems to me.

But the proof will be in the pudding, as they say. The next month or so will tell part of the tale, after both Seagate and Sandisk report.

Glad you enjoyed the article. I posted it here partly because Zeev has said several times that he thought that some part of the Postal savings coming due this year would find its way into the US market. Smith apparently disagrees that this will happen in any meaningful way.
