I have read much speculation regarding Debeers actual intent here. An eye toward Aber etc. It would seem the biggest impact has been to strengthen WSP's hand big time.
As you say, they can now raise considerable funds short term with no dilution and as much later with less dilution.
Why has Debeers chosen to do that???
