Energy stocks.. After holding them since first week in April the Energy sector doesn't look like the sprinting sector it once was. I have been doing more position trades in the technology sector since May 31 and we have started calling swing trades even before then. I think that traders/investors are a little topsy turvey here coming in late as usual. When the nasdaq improves this much, I'd rather trade the long side with a ratio of 4-2 on long trades that is an improvement from a ratio of 4-1 on the SHORT side since Mid-March. I'm still holding a few energy stock but have lightened up. Some red lights have gone up like the drop of ENE below support, the failure of DUK, DVN and EOG to truly 'recover' as in the past.

When and if the nasdaq corrects after the earnings season (end of July) I might reconsider any long term holds in the Energy sector as a hedge.
