You and the farmers got me thinking about the price of meat . Here in LA we can buy Argentine fillet for 11.99 per pound on sale reg. 14.99
Why so expensive well I hope no steroids or hormones and range fed. If i were a cattle farmer i would go for home grown cows with out the additives and i think i would get a good price. Call it the true American.
I would let my range land grow no insecticides a few insects here to control other insects and add a bit of protein to my cows diet while i was doing this. It would probably cost me less without chemicals and I could potentially make more with an organic label.
Course i could throw in a few grains of gold dust and add a bit more to the health benefits side and help the gold market too.
It is tragic but the truth is the upper end of the consumer market can bear and bear and bear as the lower end scrapes and scrapes and scrapes.
