"Do you want to find out what the thing was that made you sick?" he asks.

"Well, yes, but that's not it. You see, the thing is, I seem to know one thing for sure -- I can't type messages to my friends anymore."

The Detective leans forward and says, "That's not your problem, Sugar. That's ours."

This ending got to me. Thank you, Dave, for the touching juxtaposition. God bless Edwarda.

She could keep up all her friendships and interests going
because she was a multitasker. She would talk on the phone
while reading posts on SI and typing out conversations on ICQ,all at once.

She was a talented and wonderful woman. I didn't know anything about her background. Thanks to Dave for the article.

What an original, moving tribute. I wish I'd known her. Wish I'd at least been aware of her while she was among us. She must have been a gifted and loving human being- not a 'corrupted copy' (as she wrote), but made in the true image and likeness of her Creator. I pray that she is at peace, and that those that loved her and mourn her passing will find comfort.
