The media certainly is a major contributor to the frenzied volatility that we see in stocks. They have managed to turn investment journalism into investment sensationalism with their Hollywoodian approach, all in the name of ratings. Today is a fine example of the irrational reaction to the media pumping the Greenspan speech tomorrow. And those of you who seem to think FUNDAMENTALS is what drives stocks, think again. Vince
