Agree. I had teh cyclicals and basic materials at teh top of my watch list this weekend. Due ot personal matters though, I have curbed my trading even more so than usual since I am away often and have no contact with the market.

I agree with Haim that playing the low PE out of favor stocks makes it a bit easier to sleep at night if you absolutely must play in unknown environments.

I prefer to stay away from individual stocks if possible though to avoid unexpected news etc and just play the indexes or SPDRs. ie XLB moved nicely since it was weighted heavily by DD's move but also has IP and GP in it to catch the entire sector.

I do have a long term fork on that one that points to a buy around 25 1/2 for a run to 31 but it is close to catching a falling knife. Dangerous but potentially profitable. Buy when no one wants them????
