just bot a 500 last week. set up would have been really easy if i had known that my usb were disabled. after searching help and calling support twice, the second call produced a diagnosis that usb port wasn't enabled.

after enabling, 500 is working like a charm. a battery came with it and it's already getting low after 4 play throughs (about 4 hours). the battery may have been weak going in.

i don't really care that much for audio manager as i prefer using real jukebox. I've got so many playlists created that i really don't care to have to recreate them again for another player/recorded software.

The AA battery probably lasts 3 hours. I have the 64 meg memory. And my teenage son downloads from Napster. So the available music is practically limitless.

Plus I got the adapter to plug into my car casette player, and it works even better. I have to turn the volume down. In fact this could have blown my front speakers.

The software is a snap. I figured out how to do 80% of the functions on the first or second try.

It's a phenomenal product.
