i am very disappointed in siii.
they have/had some great possiblities/gadgets but just have not been able to do the job.

yes, you can use either manager. however, you have to "initialize" the 500 using the rio manager. but after that you can use real jukebox. i've gone this route because i've already created playlists from which to burn cd's, so all i have to do to load more music into my 500 is point to these playlists.

i just think that the battery that came with the 500 may have been a little weak to begin with. no, i don't crank it up. i save that for driving in my chrysler 300M.

the earplugs are okay but i've already taken the little soft coverings off of them because one of them fell off and it's difficult to put it back on and keep it on, so i just took both of them off.

quality of the 500 is excellent, although all that i can really compare it to is an old cassette playing walkman.
