Harry:

I posted the SEC link to you last night. Merril has it wrong. Its not the end of next fiscal year its just delayed to the 4th quarter of this year. I had a little conversation with Zeev last night on it but tried to give a heads up to the threads I visit.

On QLGC. I'm actually in it right now for an intermedite hold. I will probably hold through earnings (but may change since most of my holds thru earnings blow up, I just don't read it right, IFMX being the latest example last quarter) since they should eaisly beat the street forecast of 24 cents. This is what they earned last quarter (excl. acq. charges) and management gave a pretty good conference call on robust business (although one piece of their business bounces around and it was good last quarter & in reviewing last years financials this quarter should also be good for that item). I'm expecting around 26 to 28 cents / share and would expect over $1 with ANCR dillution.

The one negative I see is ANCR acquisition dillution, which is what hammered the stock in early May. The issue will be how soon will ANCR switches ramp. From a competitive standpoint they seem to be doing well.

I'm looking for a run to mid 80's with consolidation and then low 100's. Not sure if it can do this b/4 earnings. They have been having some good press lately. If the market doesn't go in the toilet (strong possibility after earnings season). Its in one of the right sectors, Storage, but if the market goes it will lead down.

I was just looking for a separate technical read. Depending on the fundamentals, technicals and market I may ride it for a while.

Thanks.

Tim

Edit - quote from the SEC. ML does have it wrong.
This staff accounting bulletin delays the implementation date of SAB 101 until no later than the fourth fiscal quarter of fiscal years beginning after December 15, 1999.
