Okay, I mentioned something sour...!

Did you drill on Golds' ideas on abiogenic origins of oil or drill on conventional readings...? Whatever the case...., to bad it was dry..!

My fathers family owned some land in Michigan which they sold to the government for park land while retaining the mineral rights. Unfortunately the time limits expired before anyone thought about drilling holes.
Hmmm..., maybe that was fortunately expired.

I'm sure it was right in line with one of those deep veins of natural gas. <smile>

I think Shell owns the rights now. We lost it during one of those mineral rights auction grabs, when absentee owners are deemed unknown. I hired a lawyer to review the case and found nothing worth following. It's a long 'sour' story.
