There's a great example of the 'Digital Divide'. Some high school students are being taught Powerpoint as a main component of 'tech' ed, while other high school students are being taught nothing. The students in the schools which are being taught nothing have an unfair advantage. --- How about this one; PCs in the school library with Encarta CD ROMs which the students are encouraged to use. Nobody is teaching students how to use a search engine. Instead, they have Encarta. -JCJ

The courses should be changed to reflect the
dominating presence of Java in the marketplace.
